But since recent Windows 11 updates, this app no longer works

This blog will help you fix this issue under 2 minutes and get it working again!
Step 1 : Download Vivetools
Step 2 : Extract files to C:\zVive
Step 3 : Run CMD as Admin and enter the following codes
Code 1 : cd C:\zVive
Code 2 : vivetool /disable /id:26008830
Step 4 : Restart
And after doing the instructed steps, your taskbar should turn transparent !
